There are a number of gynaecological conditions you may experience during your life that may be eased, helped, improved or cured by seeing a Women’s Health Physiotherapist. This covers all forms of urinary and bowel incontinence, problems following childbirth, pelvic pain, vulval pain, pelvic floor muscle dysfunction, before and after gynaecological surgery, sexual dysfunction, pre and post menopause and beyond!

Gynaecological conditions or problems have historically been a subject that often women are too embarrassed to talk openly (or seriously!) about, and so they remain untreated. It is my hope that shedding light on many of these less talked about issues will help educate and empower women to want to do something positive to help themselves, and improve their quality of life.

No woman should have to suffer in silence, or go through problems alone however big or small....it's not easy to seek help or treatment when issues can be personal, embarrassing, sensitive, overwhelming and sometimes life-changing. Here at Embrace Physio, we can listen to you, give you time to express your concerns, understand your problems fully and offer very personal support, care, advice and treatment that can really change your life!
